Ocean refers to his version, "You Luhh" on Tumblr, which is where the "Thinking of You" singer sporadically dropped new music, as fans await a follow-up to 2012 channel breakout singer Orange. In late November, Ocean unveiled its lo-fi, atmospheric "Memrise" two-minute track, which was the first new solo material from the ocean in almost two years.
Jan. 16 noted that it would be 36 birthday Aaliyah, and recall the late R & B singer Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr, to share his stripped-down, soulful rendition of "at best (You Love)", a song from the Isley Brothers in 1976 which was covered with Aaliyah falsetto 1994.

So many ppl didn't know Aaliyah but play tribute to her bc they fell in love with her music as an artist. It's not knowing the artist is honoring her. If he was to drop an album with his own music he would be just fine.
