After a year spent largely out of the spotlight to start a family, Kelly Clarkson is back with a new single dubbed "Heartbeat Song."
Also this year, Clarkson wrote about what direction she took on her new album."People always ask," she wrote. "My next album of pop music. But I always depends on the music that I love, which is a pop-rock / country / R & B / dance.
Oh, and the people also continue to ask about a duet on the record. Here's a hint ... it not our first time to sing along :) "

Sadly this song is a little disappointing. Sounds like an album filler, not a lead single. Nothing that intresting.

Love this song, and since it was made to the beat of her daughters heartbeat I don't think it sounds like any Jessie J or Katy Perry song. Kelly has the best vocals hands down.

She's talented, sassy and smart enough to walk away from a producer who tried to make her become his version of an artist. What you think about her weight would have her laughing all the way to the bank.
