Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett Will Ring in 2015 With Las Vegas Show

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett pose on a balcony in Brussels, Belgium. The pair will play a special New Year's show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will close out 2014 with a New Year's Eve concert at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where they will play on the Mophie Stage of the hotel's performance space the Chelsea. The evening will spotlight songs the pair recorded on their collaborative jazz standards record Cheek to Cheek. It will be the first time the two singers have performed together in Las Vegas.

"I can't think of anyone other than Lady Gaga that I would want to sing with more on New Year's Eve – I'm excited to swing in the New Year with 'Lady,'" Bennett said in a statement.

"I can't wait to kick off 2015 'cheek to cheek' with the legendary Mr. Tony Bennett," Gaga added. "New Year's celebrations are about cherishing family, friendship and the future – three things this man has taught me much about."

Doors will open at 9 p.m. for the show and will continue into 2015, as Bennett and Gaga count down the seconds to the New Year.

Cheek to Cheek debuted at Number One on the Top 200 when it arrived in late September, as well as Number One on Billboard's Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts. The album contains tunes that the pop star and vocal icon chose from the Great American Songbook, including the sublimely orchestrated "Nature Boy," upbeat "Anything Goes" and spry "I Can't Give You Anything but Love."

"It's all the great songs of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, all the greatest composers," Bennett before the album's release. "No other country has ever given the rest of the world so many magnificent songs, and they're going to live forever."

"Welcoming icons of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga's caliber together on the same stage in such an intimate setting solidifies The Cosmopolitan's reputation for creating truly unforgettable New Year's Eve experiences," said The Cosmopolitan's chief marketing officer, Lisa Marchese.

Tickets to the concert, which is all ages, will be available starting at 10 a.m. PST today here. Prices begin at $125 and the hotel is offering VIP packages that variously include accommodations, food and beverage credits and other perks via its website.
