Kelly Clarkson will be honored at the Musicians On Call Charity concert on November 18.
The American Idol champ is being lauded for her involvement with the Musicians On Call charity organization, which delivers the healing power of music to hospitalized patients, especially children, across the country.
Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes will perform at the event, which marks the organization's fifteenth anniversary.
Clarkson, who will be honored alongside Republic Records Vice President Charlie Walk, said, "Being involved with Musicians On Call has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I consider it a great gift to be able to share music and bring smiles to these brave children and their loved ones. It is healing for us all and I can't wait to do it again!"
