Quite interesting and rather good in my opinion. Close your eyes and it sounds like the guy playing the drums is Stewart Copeland -- very much his style -- but of course its Peart playing on Copleand's drum set and certainly a novelty to hear. Its funny that people complain that music today is too commercial, and of course that is true, but when they get a chance to see magnificent musicians jamming, they are unimpressed.
I had heard that Copeland hardly plays drums these days. Time has proven him to be a great musician, and while Sting went on to become a bigger solo act (and more pompous individual), you can hear in Copeland's more recent stuff the characteristic style of what made the early Police so great -- and evidence that Sting wrote the stuff on Synchronicity. Music lovers are fortunate that neither Peart nor his partners have such big heads, and continue to play great music together.
