The four surviving original members of the Grateful Dead have shown that they will reunite to celebrate its 50th anniversary with three concerts in Chicago Soldier Field July 3 to 5. For drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, bassist Phil Lesh and guitarist Bob Weir, these three shows The dead will be the final show ever.
The original Grateful Dead Ticket Service will have first crack at tickets for three concerts with the general public Onsale through Ticketmaster, starting February 14. Check Dead50.net for ticketing information. "Lookin 'forward to it, oh boy, you bet," commented Bob Weir. "Let's see how much fun you can have this 4th of July."

I really wish that Boco Haram would play some concerts here in the USA (their talent is being wasted in Africa). Their song "A Whiter Shade of Pale" is still one of the best songs of the 60s!

Not a Deadhead per se, sure don't look or smell like one, but I have several albums/CDs of theirs and listen fairly regularly to the Grateful Dead channel on Sirirus XM.

Not a fan of their music, but nobody can deny they've built a fairly incredible legacy. Oh and that guy in the middle in the picture - that is one epic beard! Wish mine looked that awesome.
