Marilyn Manson, who comes from cuttings that I have read it is confusing, hard to pin down a figure. On the one hand, it is an American icon, heavy metal rock star who has sold over 50 million albums. On the other hand, he is middle-aged man, who has not yet received its gothic scene.

Manson is no Morrissey who, though he may be a bit of a ballbag, is also a lyrical genius. Manson's a savvy guy....but no musical genius.

I have a lot of respect for Marilyn Manson. I thought he was only the weird goth guy, whose music was too loud, but then I read a bit about him, his history, and saw him star in Wrong Cops from Quentin Dupieux, and it totally changed my opinion on him. Well, I still can't stand the music though

Don't even begin to compare the artistry of Apocalypse Now with Marilyn Manson. He does seem to mean well, and it's hard not to be sympathetic towards him after the shitshow that followed Columbine, but his music for the most part really is a massive,massive bag of shite.
