In the early '90s saw Prodigy racing from the underground as fluorescent goblins taking boshing breakbeat, jungle and hardcore and mangling them as abrasive new form of pop music. They were originally derided it as novelty act dedicated clubbers, but Howlett proved that they did from 1994 to the music for the lost generation, complex, powerful record that propelled dance music in the stadium with a rock 'n' swagger.
"The club is currently the damn dead," Liam Howlett spits, still with his trademark mullet Romford Thom Yorke - and still with his trademark venom. "Manufacturers too safe, they rely on the fact in retro style. It's fucking bullshit. There's no pushing forward more."
