The band played a run of Psychocandy dates last November in the U.K. and France. The group's Paris concert marked the first time several songs were performed live.
The Jesus and Mary Chain will commemorate the 30th anniversary of their fuzzy, landmark debut LP, Psychocandy, by playing it live on a tour this spring. The album contained the singles "Just Like Honey," "You Trip Me Up" and "Never Understand," and some versions included the international hit "Some Candy Talking." Although the album didn't score any U.S. hits, it was certified gold in the U.K.

Hard to believe Psychocandy is 30 years old. That album is the very definition of timeless.

Is Canadian Music Week a venue now? I hope so, because Toronto is sorely lacking in mid-range venues these days. RIP Guvernment.
I'd go to the shit out of this show, if only I knew where in Toronto it was.

Too bad there is no Philly show.......but it's nice to see them back and possibly recording again. A great band that never put out a bad album.
