The man who brought The Runaways together and worked with Ariel Pink's last year, producer, songwriter, musician, manager and impresario Kim Fowley - died. Foley, who was 75, he is being treated for cancer, although the cause of his death was not announced.
Recall, Foley was his first big hit in 1960, when he recorded a novelty song Alley Opp Gary S Paxton called Hollywood Argyles.
It was us no 1. Two years later, he scored a UK number 1 as a writer for nuts Rocker B Bumble and stings.

It's perhaps worth adding that he was the master of ceremonies when the Plastic Ono Band made their debut appearance on stage, in a performance subsequently released on record as 'Live Peace in Toronto 1969'.

Sad to hear. Met him just once at a music in film convention. He was amazingly funny and very smart. A true legend.
